Christmas 2004.jpg

This website will give you a glimpse of life in Coalmont past and present.  There is a sister website devoted to Granite Creek.  As time permits, there will be a web site for Blakeburn, and others for exploring the Princeton - Merritt - TulameenHedley - Keremeos area.  For a unique Ghost Town experience, visit Vanishing British Columbia to enjoy the gorgeous water colours of Michael Kluckner.  A large number of the photographs on this website were supplied by Walt Smart, and many of the others were supplied by former Princeton Mayor Dave Brown who once ran the Coalmont Hotel.  Many thanks to Nick Mills at the Princeton Museum for all of his assistance and many photos.  Also thanks to Joe Smuin, author of "Kettle Valley Railway Mileboards," for his valuable input regarding the VV&E / KVR.  The Mozey-On-Inn is pleased to be able to share the history of our town with you and hope that you will stay with us when you require Motel Accommodation in the Tulameen and Similkameen regions.
